Overview of Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and skilled designer with a strong background in visual design and branding, with the ability to bring their concepts to life. You will collaborate closely with our marketing team on a daily basis to elevate our brand presence and deliver engaging visual content across various mediums and company channels, both internally and externally. 12 month Fixed Term Contract with a view to it becoming permanent.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop upon and execute creative concepts for brand identity, marketing materials, and digital assets that align with our brand guidelines and overall company vision alongside our creative agency partner.
• Design visually stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts for both print and digital platforms, including websites, social media, advertisements, and more.
• Ensuring consistency and coherence across all brand touchpoints and outputs.
• Collaborate within the Commercial department to refine our brand’s visual identity, including colour palettes, typography, iconography, and imagery.
• Implement and build upon comprehensive branding guidelines to maintain brand integrity and consistency across all communications channels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to branding guidelines and standards.
• Working on site at the head office in Glasgow
Skills and Knowledge
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects with Premiere Pro a bonus) Figma & Canva. Knowledge of Flipsnack and Office 365 especially Power Point is desirable.
• Needs to be proficient working on PC and Windows Ecosystem
• Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy and messaging into compelling visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage varied project turnaround times.

Training and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design and branding.
• Experience developing and implementing branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
• Experience working in a design-driven company or agency. Brand side experience a bonus.
• Passion for innovation and a relentless pursuit of design excellence.
